On check in the clerk was not very friendly, all he did was hand me the key when I told him I had a reservation, I had to ASK the direction the room was, and at that it was like I was inconveniencing him. the room we were given is in dire need of an update, the carpet was badly frayed especially by the bathroom. All the jets in the bathtub were taken out and the sanitation on the jet holders was to be desired. you would think paying $329 the hotel could afford to fix those at least . We had this hotel room for 2 nights and when we got back from our tours the first day, there was a note on the door that the DO NOT DISTURB sign was on the door > neither my husband and I put it on there!!! so I assume the housekeepers did as some towels from the pool had been removed from our room!!! so room was not even made up for the day> very poor!!

Loved being by the Yellowstone river and the Deer and Elk grassing on the lawn out side our room every morning as well as evenings. The staff were frindly and careind. Great place to stay and close to Yellowstone.

Excellent location for Lamar Valley in Yellowstone. Ample free parking. Buffet breakfast next door for an early start. Comfortable clean room. Beware the rooms marked "No view" as they have a retaining wall outside and you may as well keep the curtains closed. The rooms with a view overlook the car park but great scenery beyond. Elk were grazing the grass.

Stayed here one night. Called to inquire about slowness of TV start up. Was put on hold for extra long time so hung up. While I was in the shower Maintenance tried to come in with their key scaring the heck out of my daughter. We had door latched so she "slammed" it shut. Then came into the shower and told me she was calling police... It turned out to be maintenance but she was shook up. NEVER just let yourself in to a customers room! Not much for sleep. I reserved double queens but got a King. This was probably because it was a points night stay I think. Next morning coffee maker which was dirty from ? still had used pod in it...didn't work. But its clean now. No little coffee Kiosks in this town. So no coffee really left an impression. Needs updating and better cleaning / maintenance crew.

The hotel was outdated and somewhat run down. We booked a reservation based on the Best Western brand and were quite disappointed. Poor value for the cost. Clearly the rates were based on proximity to Yellowstone. We would not stay again nor recommend it to anyone else. Service was so-so. Breakfast served at dingy restaurant next door. Poor location within Gardiner, located at the opposite end of town to where most restaurants and shops are. Nothing special here.
