Gardiner is not far from the north entry to Yellowstone. The hotel is located a little further on, across the river from the main part of the township. We were upgraded to a "mountain view" room without our knowledge (these look across the carpark to the distant hills beyond). On checkout, the person on reception said there was nothing she could do to remove the charge, as the manager was unavailable. However, it was refunded when I emailed the manager on our return home. The hotel offers a free buffet style breakfast, which is served in an adjacent restaurant.The rooms are modern, comfortable and clean, and there is plenty of parking. There is a coin operated guest laundry. The hotel offers free WiFi.

Nice clean room. Don't care much for sink being outside of the bathroom. Located on the river and good view of the mountains. They have a breakfast buffet served in the restaurant which is not attached to the hotel. Food was barely warm, which lowered my rating. Hot tub was down for a month. Plus side, they are right outside of the northern entrance to the park.

Nice hotel, big rooms, great bed, and biggest pillows I have seen at a hotel. Very close to the northern entrance to Yellowstone. Good wi-fi. Hard to sleep at times, with noise from the floor above and outside the room. Breakfast was on par with most motel breakfasts, served in the restaurant next to hotel. Was nice to have real glass plates, and silverware. Housekeeping staff were very nice.

If you value good customer service and your belongings do not stay here. The stay was fine but I accidentally left my iPad. The hotel quickly confirmed that they had found it and were happy to return it to me. On multiple occasions they have promised to send the iPad back to me right away. It still has not been sent and every time I manage to get in touch with them (following a period of being ignored) they have a new reason why they have not sent it, all of which are spurious. After two months dealing directly with the hotel I contacted the head office in the UK. They have tried their best, but had no luck despite assurances from the hotel. After four months I resorted to writing directly to Best Western's Chief Executive in the USA. Still no response and no iPad.

Loved our stay at the Adventure Inn. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. All the amenities as usual. Very close to shopping and restaurants. Will definitely stay there again next summer with other friends.
