Clean, affordable room in Canyon de Chelly.
Stayed two nights here over Veterans Day weekend. Room was clean and relatively updated for only $70/ night. Cafeteria was a good breakfast option. We did a 4-hour horseback ride in the Canyon and this motel was close to the stable area. Would stay here again. If you want to support locally owned businesses, this is a good way to go.

Nice, relaxing place to stay while touring
The room I was assigned to was like a cabin inside. Very rustic looking, with all the modern conveniences. We spent two nights here. They offer all meals of average quality, there is a well-stocked gift shop, and the grounds are beautiful. It is located inside Canyon de Chelly National Monument, which is a fabulous place. The bed was comfortable, the room large, the bathroom was well-stocked and the shower invigorating. There is a coffeemaker in the room. I am not sure about a refrigerator or microwave because I didn't need either one. This is definitely the place to stay in the park.

The lodge check in room is on the side of an extensive gift shop filled with interesting crafts. Lots to check out while you check in. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was extra but there is a wide selection quite reasonably priced.

Right in the park. Room was clean, warm, (cold in early November), and provided food. Food was delicious but limited. Took the full day tour direct from the Lodge. Worth every penny. Recommend it to everyone, but understand, it is an open air vehicle and you are knocked around for eight hours. The views are so worth the aching body the next day.

In the national monument and very good
This lodge, run by the very hospitable Navajos, is inside the park with easy access to all the sights and tours. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and reasonable. The cafeteria had good choices of food at very good prices. I actually tried mutton stew for the first time and found it delicious. Special thanks to Cassandra, who always brightened my morning.
