Great location within 100 metres of the Rim Trail, small cabins but very comfortable and pretty cute ! Price for where and what this is seems very reasonable, staff really friendly plus you can walk to Maswik Lodge which is where a lot of the food options are for breakfast and dinner. Other than that you are probably driving somewhere for dinner if you dont eat at Bright Angel itself which is also an option. I would stay here again - only note would be the size of the cabin didnt bother me as a solo traveller. Internet is very sketchy but to be expected where it is !

We had a wonderful room with fireplace and perfect views of the canyon. We liked the room and ambience so much we almost didn’t want to walk along the canyon edge. Worth the extra expense to have the view and fire at this time of year. We even watched the geminids meteor shower from the comfort of our room. Bring your own pillow, however. Not comfortable despite how well done everything else was.

Great timber lodge with stunning Canyon edge viewing platform. This is an excellent facility; restaurant, sandwich shop, gift shop, hotel and Grand Canyon viewing point. What more could you want!. Had a great lunch in the restaurant, a burger (what else!) and spent some time on the viewing platform being blown away by the absolute beauty of the Canyon. An absolute must see!

I was there just before Thanksgiving. We were staying at a lodge nearby and our plane was so late that we missed the chance to check in for the sunrise tour for the next morning which we were instructed to check in at this Lodge. When we got there around 9pm, and inquired about the tour, we were met with one of the rudest front desk people that I have ever encountered in all of my travels. Couldn't be bothered, not nice or hospitable. and he gave us the wrong info, perhaps on purpose we think. It is not how to run a Lodge at a National Park or anywhere. I would never stay at this place given this "un-welcome" from this not-nice desk person.

We loved our stop at the lodge during our visit to the south rim. We didn't stay here but we did enjoy the restaurant. It has a rustic vibe and features some menu items from its early days. The views of the canyon from the back patio were wonderful and the easy access to trails allowed us to do a little hiking. The reception staff was knowledgeable and helpful. If you're there late at night you might get to see ring tailed cats playing in the rafters.
