My husband and I stayed in one of the cabins at Bright Angel Lodge. It was perfect for us. The cabin was clean, had what we needed, and convenient to shuttle buses, restaurant, and the south rim. We would definitely book this again if in the area.

First visit to this magical spot on our planet. I read a lot of reviews about all the hotels on the rim and finally booked a cabin for a super great rate. It was everything I needed it to be and more. Very comfortable queen-size bed - they renovated the entire resort last summer. Ample windows offering great natural light - you can open them up and get that fresh Grand Canyon air. Everything is close when you stay in one of the cabins - shuttle bus to see the west points, restaurants, gift shops, nature trails.- all 2-3 minutes max walking. No Ac but you don’t need it - the Canyon cools well at night. Wake up early to venture out and leave your windows open - come back later in the day to a comfortable indoor temp. Great staff at the desk also.

Booked online a two-person queen cabin (#6178). It was a one-unit cabin facing away from rim. But so quiet! We were not bothered by traffic. Lots of room to spread out hiking gear - we did S Kaibob and Bright Angel trails (3 miles RT on each) and took bus out to Pima Point and walked 5.7 miles along rim trail back. Three night stay, so we declined housekeeping services (optional), which worked fine for us. Ate at BA lodge, Masiwek food court, and El Tovar (took a 4:45 reservation at last minute - call to see if there are any cancellations and you might luck out like we did). All good with friendly efficient service, though not bargains. Provisioned our mini-fridge from the General Store at Market Plaza - best selection of GC gear and groceries (not overly expensive). Will definitely be back to Bright Angel cabins.

Bright Angel Lodge sits in the south rim of the Canyon. The view is spetacular, the rooms as you expect them to be, clean, airy, fuctional. We stayed in a log cabin adjoyning the Lodge, with shared bathroom, and even so, everything was very clean. Good value for a reasonable price.

My experience was very good! The location is central and right on the south rim! The lodge itself has a restaurant with really good food (and a separate bar area), a gift shop, a snack shop, and a museum. Everyone was so very friendly and helpful! The cabin itself, I didn’t get one with a view as I planned to be outside most of the time anyway, was very nicely updated, comfy, and had everything you need. The bathroom has hand soap, shampoo and conditioner and body soap and a nice shower head! The room has a fridge, a Keurig, a long mirror if you want to ensure you’re dressed well ;) and a tv. There is no AC but, it’s not needed! The windows with the evening breeze and the ceiling fan cool it down so well that we had to use the blankets at night. I would definitely recommend this location!
