Spent four nights at The Pines at Island Park, in a two bedroom log cabin in the woods of Idaho. Cabin had a hot tub on exterior deck. Cost only slightly more than a regular motel room in West Yellowstone MT. Will stay here next time we visit Yellowstone.

We really enjoyed our stay in Island Park. Close to the water, and not far from West Yellowstone. Plenty to do for everyone, every day of our time away. Being back in the trees really gives the illusion of being far away from everything. Much needed relaxation.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom with a couple of teenagers. The set up was perfect. With the loft and the second bedroom, it gave both kids a place for a little time away after a long day of sightseeing. The staff was very friendly and check in was easy. The couple of times that we needed small things, they responded promptly. The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed having the ability to do simple meals in rather than have to go out for every meal. Beds were comfy and the cabin was clean. Really, everything we were looking for. And with the dryer in the unit, we didn't have to air dry a bunch of clothes after rafting. Kids were happy that wifi was available in the cabin. Not sure that we'll be back to the area, but if we do, we'd definitely stay here again.

We spent two nights at The Pines in October for our anniversary. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, and just what we wanted for our weekend away. The cabin far exceeded our expectations - pictures online don't do it justice! Top of the line furniture, appliances and textiles, with granite counter tops, a gas fireplace, and private hot tub!! Service is top-notch, and the on-site restaurant provides dishes for all different tastes and appetites. We could not have been happier with our stay at The Pines, and are already looking forward to returning next year!

My family of four (two teenagers, 15 and 18) recently stayed four nights in a three bedroomed cabin. It was wonderful and luxurious. A great place to come to at the end of long days exploring Yellowstone. The beds were huge and very comfortable. Loved the hot tub. The kitchen was great and the living area was very relaxing. We had no issues with the place at all. It is a half hour drive from West Yellowstone (the west entrnce to the park) and close to an hour from the park proper (geysers and things). But don't let that put you off. It is an easy and beautiful drive.
