2nd time we've stayed at the Kalispell Hilton Garden Inn, and won't be the last. Great hotel and great service. No complaints at all. Best bang for the buck in Kali. Quiet hotel, everything works when it's supposed to. Nice pool and hot tub. Staff is super friendly and helpful

Even though the hotel is at the south end of town away from all the major shopping, it is a fantastic hotel with excellent staff! Quietest rooms we have stayed in for a long time, and now that they have ditched the adjustable beds, the bed was super comfortable!

Huge Disappointment...Garden Inn has Succumbed to Going Cheap

I have given the Hilton Garden Inn in Kalispell MT rave reviews in the past because of their high quality upscale breakfast offering Seems management has seen fit to "go on the cheap and inedible" and copied the policies of their sister establishment in Kalispell, Homewood Suites, on the breakfast front. HORRIBLE AND INEDIBLE! Shame on you! I suspect since our last stay about a year and one-half ago the establishment has gotten a new management team to "improve the bottom line". The professional waitress has been replaced by a teenage airhead who is clueless. The Chef has been replaced by a fry cook that obviously had previous experience at some local fast food dive. The link sausage was literally like rubber and tasted like lard. The pancakes were like thin sheets of fine leather. The omelet tasted like some kind of reconstituted egg that could only maintain a paper thin consistency (what happened to the whites I wonder?), was cooked in some form of fake butter-oil filled with dried bits of ham and sausage and cheap cheese. The previous elegant pastry display that proffered a variety of the highest quality of scrumptious bakery goods has been replaced by the standard cheap plastic display box offering chemical tasting and smelling chunks of, well, something, that is a disgrace to what used to be. Previously one was provided china cups and saucers to enjoy a "Starbucks Quality" cup of brew while being doted on by a friendly, intelligent, professional, server. Now you get the pre-made bucket servers with coffee that tastes like water with caramel food coloring. The orange juice and apple juice was good....that is it.....everything else about the experience was purely "fast-foodish"....and even a McDonalds bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit is gourmet fare compared to the slop served up for breakfast now...industrialized slop. The only reason we stayed here IN THE PAST is because of the breakfast. Yes the rooms are clean and adequate but the food offering WAS superb. Now that management (hmm, consulting with Homewood Suites?) in their infinite wisdom has determined that their future lies in engaging the "Slop Food Strategy" we will not be back. To make matters worse, when checking in I had inquired with the desk personnel as to the state of their breakfast situation; specifically if ANYTHING had changed and in last couple of years and had the exquisite quality been maintained. I was assured ALL was as it ever had been. Yes, not at all the Garden Inn of a mere 2 years ago. Another of hundreds of indicators of the state of America's decline.

We stayed here for a gymnastics competition. I will say that the staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean but, and this could just because of the gymnastics crowd, it was not a very quiet hotel. Our room was on the first floor between the main hallway to the front desk and the hallway to the pool/fitness area so there was a constant stream of people walking by and it was noisy up until well after 10:00 PM. The room layout was a bit odd in that the bathroom door needed to be closed, or close to it, so there was room for the door in to the room to open. In general the rooms were nice though. HBO on the TVs and good Wi-Fi if needed. The pool area was small but not overly so. They seem to stay on top of getting clean towels stocked. The fitness area was not too bad but a few of the machines were broken. Since we were there as part of an event breakfast was included but not the regular breakfast available. It started at 6:00 AM and by the time we got there at about 6:15 AM the food was already cold. I would probably consider staying here again if needed but not on the first floor and not for the breakfast.

Coming from Canada for the first time in to the USA, the staff was amazing and so helpful in helping us find our way around. They provided a detailed itinerary for the glacier challenge as well as a map to the venue. Thank you so much for all your help in making our experience and trip as easy as possible allowing us a stress free memory making trip.
