We stayed here with our family of three. Pretty much all hotels in either Gardiner or West Yellowstone are pricey in the summer because of the tourists. The room was basic but it did seem hot in our room even with the door open. The hotel is literally less than a minute from the North Entrance to Yellowstone and the staff was amazing. You get great value for what you pay for at the Absaroka Lodge.

This motel has parking and the check in was easy. We could walk into town. The river outside is nice. The room door on the parking lot side literally has a push button knob like you probably have on your bathroom door at home--that's it. I'm not into that--I like feeling secure at a hotel. The room was big but kind of depressing and the mattress was uncomfortable. The shower was hot and good flow. It was adequate for the price.

Go to sleep with the sound of the Yellowstone River rushing by.

This is a great place to stay we had a wonderful few days here during our trip, the room with kitchen had all utensil you need to prepare meals. The balcony was our favourite place to sit in the evenings and watch the river roll by, Mule deer, Elk wandering around the riverside and people watching. This is a clean well appointed Hotel and met our needs perfectly. The only issue we had was wifi reception, coming from overseas we needed access to wifi in the evenings and our room had very poor to no service which was a slight inconvenience. We still loved the Absaroka Lodge and would definitely come back.

I gave this a 5 based on expectations. This is not a 5 like a JW Marriott or anything, if you are expecting that, you'll be disappointed. Check in was super smooth. The parking was good, it was a slower time of year. The rate was fair. I have stayed in several places in town, and this one is one of the better. The bed was good, the pillows were great, extra pillows were there. I couldn't get the TV to work, but i didn't really want to watch it. The wifi was okay,

Great place to stay in Gardiner Montana. Walking distance to shops and restaurants, view of the river, north gate of Yellowstone National Park, friendly staff, comfortable and spacious rooms with small kitchenettes and porches or balconies to enjoy the river view. You have wildlife to watch outside from your porch or balcony. What’s not to love.
