The staff were so nice, the facility was very clean. We were there with kids and the room was comfortable and quiet. It was located close to the canyon and within walking distance of several restaurants. It was a great stay and we were happy to be there. Free hot chocolate at night was a nice bonus.

We had three adults and one child (5yo) in our group visiting the Grand Canyon. We decided to stay at Red Feather because of its close proximity to the Grand Canyon. We were very impressed with our stay here. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean. The lobby was very nice (we took advantage of the free hot chocolate since it snowed while we visited). The staff was also very friendly. We will definitely stay here again if ever in the area. Be sure to check out the restaurant, Plaza Bonita, that is onsite, it’s delicious.

Great location to the Grand Canyon - just a quick drive away. Lots of counter space in the bathroom; clean; comfortable beds; free tea, hot chocolate and coffee in the lobby. Near a good restaurant where you can get a discount with your room - Plaza Bonita Restaurant. We stayed in the hotel part.

This motel is great! The front desk is more than willing to make things right for your stay. Love that it is still family owned. Both the hotel and motel are at the same location. The restaurant connected to the hotel is very convenient. The rooms are comfortable and simple yet exactly what is needed before or after heading to the Grand Canyon. Love the camera showing the entrance to the park that is located by the front desk. Location is so close to the entrance of the park. No breakfast is the only negative but you know that before staying so that you can figure things out. The restaurant does have nice breakfast offerings with a discount using your key card. One idea to Red Feather is to maybe just simply have granola bars and fresh fruit in the morning for hikers to head out with their coffee :). Great stay!

We booked Red Feather based upon location, cost and reviews. So glad we did! The hotel sits just a few miles south of the South Rim entrance to the Grand Canyon. It was a perfect location for our 2 nights there. The staff was very welcoming and hotel itself was very clean. In addition to the friendly staff, there is a TV screen/video system that shows you the wait time and/or potential back up at the entrance to the South Rim. This was a nice feature (although we didn't need it at the time of year we were there). The hotel is within walking distance of restaurants/gift shops and the Grand Canyon Visitor Center. Would definitely stay here again!!
