Located just on the outer edge of Tropic it was relatively easy to find following the signs from the main road. On arrival we were upgraded to a cabin. It looks like we were the only guests on the entire site (a great time of year to visit!) The cabins were phenomenal; parking right outside and inside we had a two really spacious bedrooms with a more than ample living area complete with kitchen. There is a store in Tropic so you can buy your supplies to eat in as we did. Good job as most if not all eateries in the area were closed for the season. You are sited around 10 miles from Bryce Canyon so this is an ideal location to explore. We made use of the sauna which didn’t get that hot - it was -6c outside though. The hot tub was just fantastic and a bit surreal sitting outside semi-naked in such cold temperatures. The sunset was pretty special too! Probably one of the best self-catering places we’ve stayed. Highly recommended

Great place to stay with spacious room with kitchen about 12 miles from BryceCanyon NP. You need to book early to get a room but it is worth it. It is in Tropic Utah which is also close to Kodachrome State park which is a hidden gem.

Very nice spacious room. Great restaurant on-site. Close to Bryce Canyon National Park. Location a little out of the way, very quiet. The only negative is the lack of a good breakfast place anywhere in Tropic.

Our detached condo was very comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub on the deck at night. Four of us, two couples, shared a condo and although we were only there one night we all agreed that these accommodations would have worked well if we had a week to stay. The location is ideal if you are interested in seeing Bryce Canyon. There is a restaurant on site. It is pretty expensive but we felt it was worth dining there. There are beautiful views from the restaurant. Some of the furnishings were a little worn, and two of the jets in the hot tub did not seem to work. That is all I can find that might need attention.

The Stone Canyon Inn is a great place to stay in Tropic- about 8 miles to Bryce. We stayed in a bungalow and loved it. There is plenty of space and it is very quiet and comfortable. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room. We ate at the restaurant twice, which was superb. The views from there are great and the food was excellent. Don't miss the Tropic Trail, if you stay here. It's an easy way to hike into the bottom of Bryce Canyon. We should have stayed an extra day and just spent one day on that trail. Although at first it seemed a bit far from Bryce, it was easy to drive there and park in the lot outside of the park and take the shuttle in. I highly recommend this inn and the restaurant.
