This motel, though an older property, is an excellent choice for a stay in Moab. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pool is nice, and the rooms are decent size and comfortable. The beds are soft, which can be an issue for some. Breakfast is passable, plentiful parking, and ambience is of a quiet street and neighborhood off the main tourist areas. Still though only a four block walk to restaurants and shops. Overall a great place to stay and highly recommended for a traveler not looking to pay too much for lodging. Would return again if in the area.

John Wayne stayed here!

A nice little motel. Staff is very nice and helpful. Not in the middle of the action, which we like. It is an older hotel, but it is quiet and peaceful. It is the perfect spot to lodge on your way to Arches and Canyonland National Parks.

Older, quieter hotel, family owned and run - listed on national register of historic places due to John Wayne and movies

With two national parks nearby and gorgeous scenery all around, we did NOT intend to spend the day(s) in a motel, so cleanliness and comfort were our primary criteria. Apache Motel is older, a bit aged, but the bed was really comfortable and the room was average but nice.... so it delivered. The photos in the lobby of the halcyon movie days with John Wayne et al were fascinating! The motel had a really nice pool, too. It is also not on the main street so it is quieter, a plus for us

Little bit of a tight squeeze in room. Toilet kept giving us issues. Pool was nice. Location was great, not far from main street but off the main path enough not to have the traffic. Room needed a little bit of refreshing but definitely served its purpose.

We didn't go to Moab to sit in our hotel, the Apache offered enough comfort and breakfast to get us through. I was pleased to find it a price that left money for other excursions, there were many more expensive options. The staff was nice. The pool was refreshing after a hot day in the desert.
