Traditional Family Run Motel. Good Value in relation to Others in this Tourist Trap

The exterior and the outdoor pool is tired and in some need of refurbishment, but it ticks most of the important boxes internally. Clean well appointed variety of rooms. Refrigerator, microwave, and all channels TV. Basic continental breakfast included. Quiet location a few blocks from Main St. Interesting history in relation to John Wayne, but perhaps needs to move on with the times. A reasonably priced stopover when visiting the Arches National Park.

We enjoyed our time here. We had a ground floor room, with a fridge, micro, and coffee maker. The wifi was good. The staff was friendly. A breakfast was offered but did not start until 7:00 and were headed out earlier.

Cheap and cheerful

It is a bit WYSIWYG, but our second stay at Apache was just as good as our first some eight years previously. I'm sure the woman on front reception was the same as back then too! Check in was easy, our first floor king bed room was fine (and clean), though breakfast is very basic. It's also much cheaper than many of the similar hotels on the main drag and only five minutes walk away (four blocks). The only down side was that a small penknife of my wife's went missing, presumed stolen, from our room one day when we were out.

Great family run business, stayed in the same room as John Wayne did, lots of room, nice and clean, quiet, people where very helpful. I arrived late my door had my name in envelope with door keys in. No elevator that l could see, so as I’m handicapped it made it hard to get to Second Floor. You could feel the nostalgia in the room

This is a remodeled Motel, Friendly, quieter neighborhood, clean, good mattress and nice swimming pool. It's famous for John Wayne staying there whenever filming in the neighborhood. I would recommend this place. Breakfast is carbos only, coffee & tea. Furniture and carpeting needs replacing.
