Just a one nights stay after driving from Jackson.Room comfortable with fridge, coffee maker and all we needed. We did have a good nights sleep even though the motel is on the main road. The only thing I didn’t like was the occupant next door spending time very loudly on his phone outside his door as it sounded like it was inside our room. This is not the fault of the motel. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.A nice variety of information was in reception. The cost was far more expensive than the motel I stopped in in Buffalo, guess Moab is expensive.

Much older motel in great location

My husband and I stayed at Motel Bowen overnight last night. The pros are its location right on the main strip. It was clean, no bugs crawling around and front desk reception was friendly and prompt. She warned us that Maintenance had not had the chance to turn on and "air out" the heaters in the rooms and that if our room's hearer gave off a musty smell, Maintenance advised guests to leave their doors open for a bit. Fair enough, we'd been warned and it turned out the smell was sorta musty but not bad enough to warrant leaving the door open (it poured cold rain all night). This leads to the cons. We parked our (locked) trailer in designated area behind the motel in a muddy lot that was unlit and unmonitored. Everything turned out to be safe, but the trailer was pretty open to being vandalized so we checked on it throughout the night. Also, you can clearly hear guests talking from the outside corridor, the beds had a sheet and bedspread (needed more linens on cold night) and we felt it was overpriced for such a mediocre, no frills motel probably built back in the 60's ($225.90 for a 1 night stay, 2 people). We left at 5 a.m. and will not return. We do not recommend Hotel Bowen.

We stayed in a double queen room, it was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the room was very spacious. The motel is in a great location and we could walk to any number of restaurants and shops. The room had a microwave and fridge so we were easily able to self cater for our breakfasts. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the coffee machine in the room. Yes it is noisy but we certainly didn’t have any issue with being able to sleep. There were plenty of lights and plenty of outlets for charging up all our devices. Would definitely stay here again.

Spend a week in Moab at this hotel and I was very please . Had a very spacious clean room with two queen beds and everything needed to rest after a day of hiking the parks. Very friendly and helpful staff . This hotel is right in the moab downtown area so close to most of the main restaurants in the area . I walked basically every night for dinner and every morning for breakfast .that was very cool . And for those reviews that mention noise because of its central location i can tell you that I did not have that experience . Had a very restful night every time I highly recommend them .by the way I was there from Sep 22 thru the 29.

Bowen Luxury House is a marvel

I initially booked a three-bedroom house but at check-in we were upgraded to Bowen's Luxury House for free. This house is absolutely gorgeous. It has 6 fantastic bedrooms with excellent beds, all the necessary equipment and beyond. The house is a jewel and it definitely lives up to its "Luxury House" name. Staying there for three nights was may best experience ever (and I'm quite a traveller) and it largely exceeded my expectations.
