Disappointed and wish they advertised hot tub and pool accurately as we would’ve gone elsewhere

A 3 because the food is very good and the lake setting pretty. A 2 rating better as hot tub and heated pool advertised. Hot tub is a hot kiddy pool as no adult can use it - it’s filled with kids yelling and playing. Pool freezing. Lounge chairs are not enough for guests - been here 4 days and today the first day we got chairs only because we came out at 930 am to grab. It’s far from peaceful. The room rates are high compared to what you get.

Overnight before heading to week in Glacier National Park

Hotel is large with condos and single rooms. Seems like a party and wedding venue. Room was comfortable and lakeshore is pretty. It is a short drive outside of Whitefish, a cute town with restaurants and shops. I was hoping for something more peaceful and remote. Just not my cup of tea

The lakeside suite was epic!

Absolutely wonderful. We stayed in the lakeside suite, which is a condo. Booked a last minute stay for 2 nights, price was very reasonable. Gorgeous view, very cozy, clean etc. Not sure how the actual main lodge rooms are. The hotel was quiet and very upscale feeling. Front desk was lovely.

Not Worth the High Price Anymore

This place might have been top-notch a decade ago, but now the cost feels extremely high for what you get. The rooms and amenities don’t quite live up to the price tag. The spa, in particular, is very underwhelming and not up to the standard you’d expect. Overall, it’s not the value for money it once was.

Ask to see the room beforehand.

Room we were assigned appeared to be decades old, with decades of grit and grime on chairs and patterned carpet. Also the bed was accented with an old blanket and velvet shams, ie, grossly unclean. The a/c is blasted out of a dilapidated vent which created a wind tunnel, so we went without ac entirely. We demanded a release from the 2d night stay, which they kindly obliged . Exorbitant resort fees etc.
