If you have stayed in the main lodge be ready for a disappointement in the Viking lodge not the same class of rooms at all . ( I guess the price difference reflects this) The hotel ammenties were great . Loved the pool area . Would have loved to take the sunset cruise but you had to book the full boat . We met many who wants to do this but did not want to pay $350 for 2 when the boat capacity is 10 . The concierge said many people have the same concern. So why can’t they take a waiting list and let people know if they don’t get 10 by a certain time then the trip will be cancelled .

Spent two days here. Spa was excellent. Food poor. Service just okay. This lodge has good bones but needs some injection of cash to paint halls, new carpet etc. Grounds outside are well maintained and that is good. It could be classy but has seen its better days and needs renovating. Corridors are winding with lots of turns and poorly lit. Definitely need new carpet, better lighting and paint.

We chose to stay here while visiting Glacier National Park. Very nice lobby and grounds. We were in the main lodge and had a lake view room. Bath towels were extremely large. Separate tub and shower. Very large bathroom. The Boat Club restaurant was relaxing. Menu choices were few but steak and salmon were both good.

The room was absolutely to die for. The tub was enormous, there was a gorgeous fireplace, and I had a partial view of the lake. It was very very nice. The only disappointment was that the pool was closed while I was there.

From the superb staff to the immaculate suites to the dining, this place was incredible. We hosted a conference here and they did a terrific job. Ryan and Jessica were the best. Attendees from across the nation raved about the food, support staff and accommodations.
