The rooms are a good standard and nicely sized. Ver comfy beds. The bar is good and stocked with a wide range of beers and spirits. The steakhouse serves terrible food and to top it is very expensive. I had a T bone of which 30% was gristle and fat and it was so skinny, i am sure it did not weigh 14oz. My wife had a chicken sandwich which she could only eat a quarter of it was so dry and tasteless. The restaurant was also cold we had to go to our rooms to get jumpers.

Stay was okay

Nice hotel, but rooms is really dark. I was surprised the only light they have is in the hallways, and 3 laps, two by the bed, and one on the table. My room was located kind of in the corner, so it was extremely dark. This trip was for work do to my poor vision lack of light really affected me. On top my comforter had a whole in it. Front desk staff was really helpful, and friendly.

Great location, nice room, great service, just yucky breakfast

This hotel is lovely, with nice amenities, such as flavored waters, morning coffee and a fireplace in the main lobby. Staff was attentive. My only complaint was that the buffet breakfast was pricey ($16.95 pp) and truly awful. Sausage you could not chew and tasted like plastic, and over-steamed. Generally, the food sat under hot steam way too long I think. The breakfast choices were broad, but it was expensive and truly inedible. We noticed that many people who stayed there drove to Starbucks, or the General Market to get breakfast. There is a Mexican restaurant on the other side of the highway that serves a better breakfast, also. Location is outside the park and very close to the entry.

As other have noted, travelers are something of a captive audience when visiting the Grand Canyon. Hotels, food, gasoline are all pricey. But to call this hotel “luxury,” with fairly typical rooms, large but worn bathrooms (with a very scuffed, worn vanity, a dirty-looking base on the magnifying mirror, and a drain that didn’t drain), a Keurig that hadn’t been flushed for so long that the coffee tasted metallic, is a bit much. Although we were told that the breakfast buffet folks could accommodate our friend’s need for a low salt diet, they could not. The hotel was quiet and, obviously, well-located.

Hotel on the whole was very cute and well maintained. Rooms where very comfortable and equipped. There is a large restaurant which we ate at, was good food and service was pretty good though not exceptional. Bar area is nice and shows sports. There is an indoor heated pool but It was more like warm than heated, there is a hot tub too but we didn’t go in that. Staff are very friendly and professional and location is excellent for the Grand Canyon. There are connecting buses in the summer that take you direct to it, although we had no issue driving in and finding parking in October.
