We got a deluxe room at a very reasonable price. The room was spacious, had a microwave and fridge, and a nice tv with lots of stations. Bed was comfy. Wifi was nice and strong. Park right in front of your door. Pool and hot tub were closed for the winter. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They offered free breakfast, but we didn't get up early enough to check it out. The restaurant next door (affiliated) is great and open year round. Not much open in the winter so it was always packed. The park is a quick drive. Note that a lot of the trails on the park are closed in the winter.

We stayed in one of the detatched cottages, which are a bit worn. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked OK. It was a bit cool at night, so the heater was on, and was quite noisy. The best part of the stay was the food in the restaurant. Portions were fairly large and the prices were reasonable.

Ate dinner here 2x’s while hiking Bryce Canyon NO. Utah Rainbow trout was very good as were the ribs. Sweet potato waffle fries were yummy. Coconut cream pie n blueberry cream pie were delicious. 2nd night we weren’t as hungry n shared the 16oz ribeye (with double waffle fries)—ribeye was cooked perfectly and was very tasty. Great place, good service and good prices.

This a place that all of the locals go to. It's not fancy, but serves good basic food. We had Chicken Club Sandwiches that were good. We also came back the next morning for breakfast. You don't have many choices of places to eat in this area, and this is one of the few that remain open year-round.

Rooms & Front Desk Staff Need Updates

This is the kind of place that, when you check out, doesn't ask how your stay was because they don't want to hear the answer. The rooms are tired, not all lights work, coffee pots may be rinsed but certainly not cleaned, and worst of all, water pipes that struggle in the morning to provide hot water. The attitude of the front desk is less-than-friendly. The motel itself gets 1 star. I gave a second star because the restaurant staff was pleasant, and the food acceptable, though the coffee was dismal. You’re better off spending a few bucks more for one of the places closer to the park's entrance.
