Motel near Bryce Canyon
The motel is old but has been refurbished. Rooms are typical of an older place that has been fixed up. Seemed to be clean and beds were okay. The heater in the room was extremely noisy and made it hard to sleep. There is Highway noise if you have a room near the road. I would not stay here again. The price was okay.

Rundown Ramshackle Complex Charging Premium Prices
Before you even consider making a booking at this rundown, ramshackle complex, make sure you know exactly where your room is, what it looks like and what it contains. We ended up with by far the worst motel room of our entire two week trip around Utah’s Parks. Price in September: $145 per night!
For a start, various entities suggest that these motel rooms come completely equipped – as most are these days – with coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Our room had none. Secondly, when you book in at a separate building, the plan provided infers all the rooms are on the ground floor. They are not. Several are above, reached by an outside staircase, as was ours, a “Queen Room.”
When we entered our small room, we found the usual space for a chest of drawers taken up by two old chairs, side by side, that seemed to have been dumped there. There was one bedside light on one side the bed. A central light did not work.
In the bathroom were two dirty washcloths left by the previous occupants. The room AC was an ancient, noisy unit, placed under the only window. In order to sleep, we had to turn it off and open the unbarred window with the risk that anyone could reach through the curtains to the bed from the outside landing.
Down below us beside the car park were an outdoor table and chairs, nicely positioned in the shade of a tree. They were covered in bird excrement.
We noted that there were several “cottages” at the back of the property as well as single level motel rooms. During some 50 years the family-owned complex has grown but it is all in desperate need of refurbishment.
Coffee was available from the adjacent restaurant in the morning, but if you wanted a table at night, the wait was over an hour (30 minutes promised) without any effort to provide refreshment while waiting in a sort of abandoned reception area lacking proper seating. The restaurant bar is just for decoration.
Go about a mile down the Hwy 12 road to the pleasant UpTop Steakhouse en route to Bryce (endless dinner queues everywhere in Bryce too) and get seated immediately with a drink! You might need it!

Reasonable place to stay
We stayed 2 nights here. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. There is a small refrigerator and microwave in room. Internet worked okay. Breakfast is not included. Their restaurant is decent but be prepared for a wait there.

We stayed here for 2 nights while we visited Bryce Canyon National Park. The check in was easy and quick. There is no elevator, so you might request a ground floor room if you have a lot of luggage. Our room was very clean and comfortable. It was a short drive to the park entrance. Very enjoyable stay!

We spent one night and were totally satisfied with the room, proximity to Bryce Canyon Park and the fact that we could check in early. We arrived the day of the tragic tourist van accident and were unable to go anywhere since the road was blocked. We arrived about 12:30pm and the desk clerk checked us in immediately. We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant next door, which is a great convenience. The room was spacious and immaculate. My sister stayed here before and she recommended we stay there. We were very pleased by our experience.
