The restaurant is why we stopped.
Ate breakfast here on way to Bryce Canyon. Really liked the Western theme and the food and service was good also. I did not know about the lodge here, but looking at the reviews I wish we had. We enjoy the privately owned lodges and motels.

Great Location with Comfortable Room
We stayed for four nights in a King Deluxe with electric fireplace. We were pleased with our room, from its spaciousness and the comfortable bed, to its end/corner placement that afforded us privacy along with open views to the grazing horses and mountains. Even though it was mid-May we had cool-to-cold temperatures, so the electric fireplace came in handy for heat as well as ambiance; plus we used the room’s general heater as well. The onsite restaurant, where we had three meals, is very convenient, in addition to the food being quite good. People come from all over to dine there and it’s also known for its pie. We can understand why. We loved the motel’s location too. It was an easy 5 to 10 minutes drive to Bryce Canyon National Park, which we preferred over staying at one of the chain establishments that were only a bit closer but much more crowded and busy. We even saw one of the most beautiful sunsets of our 3 week vacation there as we stood in front of the motel’s restaurant waiting to be seated for dinner one night. It was stunning. And for more beautiful scenery, make sure to take a drive along scenic byway 12, of which the motel is directly located. You’ll be quite pleased you did, especially if you’re able to make it to Mile Marker 70, around one hour from the motel.

Not a good value
Was disappointed for the money ! Wi Fi was terrible, water froze up at night no LP for sale on site. I wished I had spent more time checking out other campgrounds in the area. Left a day early for warmer territory.

Nice motel close to Bryce Canyon National Park
Although this motel has a 1940s mountain property look on the outside, the 2 queen bed room we had was totally modern and nice. Other than the decor being bland, the room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The on-premise restaurant is a plus and is fairly popular at dinner time (20 minute wait at 7pm).

We waited about 40 minutes on a Thursday night for food that was nothing special. My side order of as potatoes came swimming in gravy and was lukewarm. My wife liked her Baker chicken but not the potatoes or broccoli that came with it
Dessert was an incredible raisin pie!
