Excellent choice on the west side of Glacier National Park
Immaculate rooms at the foot of Lake McDonald, with a magnificent view of the lake and surrounding mountains from each room. Sit in the chairs outside your door and enjoy a drink or just the amazing view. Within easy walking distance to Eddie's Restaurant, as well as a gift shop with coffee and ice cream.

exceptional views of lake mcdonald. especially when not crowded with guests. June is a tough month in Glacier with not a few surprises. Comfortable. Rustic. Kitchenette on first floor very handy. nice beds and a very welcome great water pressure and responsive hot water in the shower. Only drawback was there was four of us and the storage space for clothes and items was very limited. Ideally suited for 2 or 3 but with some concessions towards utility, the constant close proximity became orchestrated in no time. besides inside time is relatively limited and you can always sit outside and enjoy the fresh breeze and view. My opinion that the village in itself is probably a better choice than Lake McDonald lodge down the road.

Relaxing and Stunning Views Even from bed. The Kitchen was nice!
We rented a first floor room that included a full kitchen. Words can't do it justice. It was amazing enough to ruin your life. You will spend your time here, and the following months pondering life and what you need to change to LIVE here vs your mundane existence of toiling away at work.
The kitchen was a very convenient add-on for our family of 4. It included a full refrigerator, freezer, 4-burner stove, sink, microwave, toaster and a full set of pots, pans, utensils and dishes.
We arrived at the last few days in May, and unfortunately the upper elevations of the Going To The Sun Road were not opened. We exhausted our experience on the west side, and took the long loop around the park to visit the Eastern side. It was worth the drive! Wildlife galore (not at the hotel mind you).
This will go down as one of my most memorable stays anywhere. 6 out of 5 stars!

Always a great stay
My husband and I stay here annually. It's a great place to stay and relax while in Glacier. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. Best of all, the view is amazing!
