We stayed one night at a cabin on the bluff equipped with a full kitchen. It was very quaint and rustic and we utterly enjoyed it. Unfortunately we were unable to visit the Going to the Sun road because of forestfires closing he west side of the park. We could visit Apgar village which we did and hope to visit the rest in the future.

Nice, comfortable room in a wooded area. Good location for all activities at West Glacier and less expensive than most other motels and lodges. Restaurant next door is convenient for eating. It is also at the beginning of the Going-to-the-Sun road so it is a good stopping place on the way to the east side.

We enjoyed the Cabin. It was not the Hilton but was very comfortable and close to shops and the little town of West Glacier. The cabin was clean. When seeing amenities at the park lodges, I think these cabins were a much better value.

This was a bad experience, too bad nothing else was available. The shower was so small that even a 110 lb person kept hitting the walls. The door had a gap at the bottom, through shock insects came in.

We stayed at the West Glacier Motel for 3 nights. Room was clean and well sorted. Sadly there was no coffee maker or kettle to heat water and no fridge to keep food in. This problem was added to by the fact that the whole village was shut down until late morning. HAD TO DRIVE TO GET A COFFEE AND BREAKFAST. The other issue is that you can hear everything going on in the next room - not good for a nights sleep.
