4 night stay recently while visiting Glacier National Park. The upside: we were comfortable and slept well, and it was quiet, even having the train station across the street did not bother us. The shower was fine. We were there to explore the Park and it was very, very close (appr. 2 miles) so location gets a big plus. We were so tired once we got back to the room that we only wanted to be fed, get clean and sleep, in that order. The restaurant associated with the motel was wonderful! Every meal we had there was terrific and I was pleasantly surprised at the menu as it had something for just about every taste. And oh, the pie!!! We ended up eating most of our meals there. There’s also a convenience/grocery/gift shop/ gas station attached to the restaurant that came in very handy. The staff were friendly. Many were international students, a very common finding in the western National Parks. They were all courteous and as helpful as possible. The town of West Glacier did not have the “carnival” atmosphere that we experienced in West Yellowstone and we enjoyed the more laid back feeling. This is really a hiker/backpackers paradise and not as many young children around, not that I am against them haha. Downside: housekeeping a bit questionable, had a lightbulb out and my husband unscrewed it from the fixture and left it laying on the bed, but they didn’t get the hint, made the bed up and placed the bulb back on top. Next day left a note and bulb was replaced. Room smallish but I pretty much expected as much. The WiFi is practically non-existent as well as the TV offerings, however I think that’s just typical of the area. There was no phone in the room which on top of the nearly non-existent cell service made you feel kind of isolated, but this can be nice if you’re wanting to get away from it all. Overall we would stay there again! If you need rocking WiFi and 200 channels, forget it, but for good basic accommodations to enjoy Glacier National Park, this motel is fine.

Very poor

The entire family was on vacation and we rented 5 separate rooms several months in advance. When asking questions about the hotel at the front desk the clerk said they didn't understand English very well because they were from a different country so didn't understand the question. 1. No air conditioning in any room 96. degrees outside 2. No coffee maker or microwave in any room 3. No ice, you have to go to the gas. station for it. 4. No small refrigerator in half the rooms. 5. No toilet paper holder in half the rooms the roll sat on the back of the toilet lid. 6. The extra pillow had a fresh blood stain on it and it showed through the pillow case. The list is longer. This was a great disappointment for $145 a night. We would not recommend this place to anyone.

I decided to take a little road trip to Glacier at what I would call the last minute. About two months out I booked what seemed to be one of the only properties available. I wanted to visit the park this summer and time was limited so I took what I could get. For the price of $169 a night this room was fine. Clean, convenient and sort of cute.... My only complaint was the saggy bed. To me this is important as my body of 53 needs a supportive place to recuperate. I woke with a lot of pain and it took 3 days to get it back to normal. But, that's me so if you can take it then its an OK place to stay. I thought the staff from all over the world was nice and professional.

Stopped by for dinner after a big day hike in Glacier and left SO FULL AND HAPPY. As an area local, I usually pass by establishments catering to tourists during our very busy summer season, but I will for sure be back to the Highland! Here's a pro tip: when you order, ask for your pie first for a warm, gooey, pre-appetizer appetizer. "Pie first" is how I will live my life from now on. Speaking of appetizers... do not miss the chickpea fries or spider tots. Both will blow your mind. We ordered two plates of chickpea fries because we were that obsessed. And even after stuffing our faces with all that, we devoured our pizza. I forget the pizza's exact name, but it had artichoke hearts and sun-dried tomatoes and it was YUM. (Dough is made in-house!)

The room was nice and clean and affordable given the time of the year. I was disappointed to hear that they didn’t breakfast on site but the nice young gentleman at the hotel informed me of breakfast hall across the street which was great. Anne was a great server with the best pie recommendation! The receptionist was very helpful with activities and information about the park! He was very helpful whenever I needed it.
