We rented the cabin from the East glacier KOA. It has beautiful views and is in the heart of St Mary. It is also very close to the park entrance. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath with a full kitchen and huge porch. It was well worth the money. There were a few minor things that needed repair, but great place to stay!

Beautiful new cottage with fabulous kitchen and lovely views. Great service if there are any issues. Slight problem with noise coming from apartment building across the way that seems to contain lots of young people who stay up late. Ear plugs would be a nice amenity.

Not cheap but worth the price for the kitchen, view and bedrooms.

This is a confusing place to rent. The cottages are located right at the east entrance to the park on a ridge line with a fantastic view of St Mary mountains and lake. There are several cottages here all with a great view. Seems that the cottages are owned by a brother/sister. One sibling rents with the KOA while the other goes thru another agency . So if you wish to rent you can try 2 numbers with only KOA having access to the KOA facilities which are a few miles from the cottages. Number for KOA is 1 406 732 4122 for other agency 1 406 309 4231. Or use either the KOA website or the cottagesatglacier.com for the other agency. From my research, the cottages at St. Marys and the facilities at Apgar Village Lodge are the closest rentals to Going to the Sun entrances which have kitchen facilities.

The cabins are very clean and comfortable. Terry and Sally are awesome. We went in October and got about a foot and a half of snow while we were there. They checked on us and had us plowed out. The fireplace is really nice in the colder weather. The beds were comfortable and we loved our stay. We stayed out of peak season. This rental was comparable, if not cheaper than other rentals in the area AND the location is the best! Now called The Cottages at Glacier.

Now called the Cottages At East Glacier and meticulously cared for by onsite managers Sally and Terry, these have to be the best headquarters for hiking and seeing Many Glacier, Two Medicine and the Lake St Mary area. Each two bedroom freestanding cottage has complete kitchen with all the implements and basics you need. Gas fireplace and huge wall of windows with views to die for in living room plus AC make for a very comfortable spot to come home to at the end of the day. All rooms open to deck with good gas barbeque. Direct TV is included if you can stand to take your eyes off the views. WiFi is decent if a bit erratic but quite sufficient for emails we found. And there is now a washer and dryer on premises available to guests -- a major plus. Terry even supplied us with loaner bear spray for our hikes. I can't say enough nice things about these clean, comfortable, cozy cottages. You will be hard pressed to do better!
