The Golden Stone goes above and beyond in ways their competitors won’t. All the usual are perfect- clean, friendly staff, up to date, region specific decor. Where they up the game starts with the lighting. All other hotels are dreary, not to mention so dark you can’t see inside your suitcase. Here the overheads are bright and there’s also plenty of lamps and task lighting. You get nice shampoo and shower gel without having to smack it out of those annoyingly teeny plastic bottles. The coffee pot makes two cups at a time and you can drink it out of real ceramic mugs, plus grownup wine glasses instead of this cheapo plastic cups that collapse in your hand. The breakfast is good, too. Stayed 5 nights. Highly recommend.

Cute places located in the town of West Yellowstone. It is located a little off the main part of town, but is a short walk. The cabins are clean, nice, washroom is excellent. Parking is easy, the staff is excellent, they have cute bonfires and you can make delicious toasted s'mores ! They have a small lounge where they serve breakfast, but our breakfast was premade the night before and we were told to warm it up next morning which was a little odd. Apart from that, the staff is so friendly and courteous, everything is great ! It is a 5 min drive to the gate of Yellowstone, which is excellent !

This is a quiet spot off the main streets of West Yellowstone, which can get hectic in summer. As elderly travelers, we appreciated that, but had hoped for really comfy beds at this price point. They were too soft to be as supportive as we need, and that's why I didn't give this property a 5.

We recently stayed 1 night at the Golden Stone Inn. The room was clean and looked exactly like the photos. It is just a short drive to downtown West Yellowstone area. There was a complimentary breakfast included. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here with my family and it was clean and quaint. The lounge is adorable and cozy. Complimentary breakfast, great customer service, and quiet. Mini fridge with wine glasses, drinking glasses, and coffee maker. We enjoyed the fire pits and close location to Yellowstone Park. Highly recommend!
