We rented on a whim, opting to spend a night near Mammoth before heading back to our "home base". I can't describe what a gem this place is! Warm and inviting, rustic and fresh at the same time. We loved it, and didn't want to leave in the morning! Tami has spent a lot of time and energy getting everything perfect. So much attention to detail - nothing is left "half way". I could've spent more time in the room just discovering all the little special touches. The bed was comfy, cozy, and the room well appointed. Service was great - very flexible. We'll look for reasons to come back to Gardiner just to visit this hotel again!

We've stayed in many places around YNP's north entrance, and the Park Hotel Yellowstone is the best! Comfy bed, lovely rocked-in shower, and full kitchen facilities make this a great place to stay. We were in one of the alley-way rooms, so parking is right by the room door, and then it's a quick walk down the alley to town restaurants.

I loved this place, as soon as I walked up to it l felt like I had gone back to a bygone era. We had the room on the front on the first floor and it was more like an apartment as we had a big kitchen/dining area as well as a sofa and beds. I also loved the little details such as the bear paw light switches and bear hooks in the bathroom as well as the photos on the walls. It was also the first time I had a kettle as everywhere else I stayed during my holiday visiting the national parks only had a complicated coffee machine!! Yes it is an old building and a little dark inside and it's probably not for people who like bland modern chain hotels but I totally see what the owner is trying to create here and my stay felt much more of an experience than just a room for the night. You will get check in details emailed to you so if you think you will be out of a wi fi area beforehand just plan ahead a little and am sure Tami the owner will be able to send details earlier. She also sent lots of info about area and recommended an amazing restaurant called the Raven which I have reviewed separately. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends if they go to Yellowstone.

Love the care and finishes. Small 13 room property. Small staff. Very accommodating and tech savvy. Rooms have number pads. You are given your room number and code on day of check in via email. Owner text info as well. Easiest checkin process ever. Then if u need something you message the owner or staff and they accommodate. So convenient. The owner provided a long list of recommendations for the area. Super helpful. And literal across the street from Yellowstone. Loved this stay. Most convenient for the park. Wish we had stayed more nights.
