The Park Hotel Yellowstone is a very comfortable hotel in Gardiner - which is approximately 15 miles from Mammoth Hot Springs. It is literally just across the street from the North Entrance to Yellowstone. We had the suite on the top floor - two beds separated by the kitchen and the bathroom. The room itself is very comfortable, with large windows looking out over the north gate. A parade of wildlife will likely be walking by each morning. :-) Virtually everything one could want is available - coffee maker and coffee, full kitchen, a wonderful shower. The king size bed was very comfortable. The only small draw back is that the 2nd bed is listed as a queen but believe it is actually a double - a bit small for grown adults but perfectly comfortable for children. The large deck on the back has a couch and multiple chairs for a glass of your favorite beverage to salute another great day. We will be back - recommended.

this lovely quirky hotel is in a great location, easy to stroll out to shops and restaurants. It has a nice porch area on the front lit up with fairy lights, nice to sit and have a drink. Each day chocolates and cookies are laid out on the landing, a nice cosy touch. My only issue with our room was that there was only a shower and toilet in the bathroom so we had to use the kitchen sink to wash and brush teeth etc. this did not feel like such a good idea to us.

Fun location, fun old fashioned hotel! If you like rustic charm like we do, this is a great place to stay, right in Gardiner. If you are looking for a lobby and room service, don't stay here. You'll just give them negative reviews as I've read some. We stayed 5 nights and loved it. Walked everywhere. So close to the north entrance. My favorite spot was the porch, such a great place to munch, sit, and sip at night after a long day hiking or sightseeing. 10 pm is quiet time and we had to remember to go back to our rooms so we wouldn't disturb the guests in the rooms next to the porch. We never had a chance to use the fire pit, but it was very inviting. Don't forget Jiffy Pop. It was sold out everywhere we went as we were driving. Bring your own coffee as they only provided enough for one morning. There's a 12-cup pot, so it was just like home, not hotel size. We were able to peek in to see the third floor room and a couple of the larger on the second floor. They have living room areas that we would have enjoyed had one been available. There are lower rooms off the alley that can get noisy as families are coming and going, but it wasn't a problem. You're there to see Yellowstone, after all! We had two queens which gave us room to put our bags. The kitchen was well stocked and enabled us to save on meals, plus we came home late many evenings and it was nice to just open up a can of chili after a long hike. Lush towels, large stone shower. The kitchen sink doubles as a bathroom sink because of the layout of this historic home. They did the best they could! Everything works once you adjust your thinking. We'd go back in a heartbeat! Thanks, Tami!

Great location within Gardiner and for Northern YNP. This is a distinctive, characterful and comfortable guest house. Some reviews mention that the old building is creaky, we didn’t hear any noise and slept really well both nights at the Park Hotel. We had a well equipped kitchen and nice products in the bathroom. No onsite staff while we were there but the owner/manager was very easy to contact and entry was simple. We would stay again if visiting the north of the YNP.

Beautiful room, fantastic location!

We stayed 5 nights in a lodge inside Yellowstone, which was great for the location..... but we only stayed 2 nights at the Park Hotel in Gardiner and we wish we had booked more at Park Hotel and less at the lodge. Tami does an incredible job with communication. The whole process is the easiest thing ever. The room was beautiful. In fact our tween daughter now wants to redecorate her bedroom to match Tami's decor!!! Thank you for the inspiration. I'm not sure my husband is ready to re-tile our daughter's bathroom to match the gorgeous shower in room #204, but who knows. Being walking distance to shopping and restaurants was perfect for us. The recommendations were great. The room was so clean we felt like we were the first people to stay there. WOW! (we owned a rental condo in FL for 12 years so we know all too well how difficult that is). Thank you so much! We look forward to returning!!!
