I stayed one night at Under Canvas Zion on my way through Zion NP. My over ambitious driving itinerary (coming all the way from a day in Death Valley) meant I arrived in the dark. (sad to have missed sunset). There is a big town (Hurricane) nearby en route to the camp. A sign or too would be good for those of us arriving after dark and with a sat nav dropping in and out.. a bit hair raising. Once I arrived though staff were friendly and efficient and quickly showed me to my glamping tent. This was my first experience of glamping and I was impressed! The bed was more comfortable than many 5 star hotels I had experienced. The wood burner (which the staff helped to light) was very efficient (almost too hot). It wasn't really needed in October but I guess you can't not light it ;) The short walk to the toilet/ shower was fine. The toilet and shower was very small but clean. There were not a lot of toilets/showers to share amongst all guests. My tent was by the path to the toilet so a little noisy at bed time. After a great sleep I unzipped my tent the next morning and was met with spectacular views of Zion. The location really was spectacular. Breakfast was good. Staff overall were great.. but there was a seasonal/transitional/here for a short time vibe. The only criticism was the placement of the toilet block- right in front of the restaurant/deck area. So we all looked onto everyone queing for the toilets while we ate our breakfast. Then I set off into Zion National Park which was not too far away from the camp ground. I would definitely stay here again. One night was not enough. Don't hesitate booking this- it is worth the location and memory. Note: no internet or mobile reception (with my provider), but there is a charging battery in the tent.

We stayed at Under Canvas Zion and it was absolutely amazing. The views are incredible. The tents were cozy yet spacious. The bed was better than most hotels I’ve stayed in, tons of blankets and pillows. I slept like a baby despite the 22* weather outside. The staff was friendly, attentive and always available. The lobby was fun, energetic and had good food, a fire pit and lots of games. You are just minutes from some of the best hikes in Zion but can also sit on your own porch drinking coffee watching the sun rise. I could go on with all the things I loved about our stay. I’d love to come back and would splurge on a tent with a bathroom just to have a tub in the tent. Highly recommended.

Incredible Stay. Fun Glamping Experience

Wow! We were so happy we chose Under Canvas as our base camp During our recent visit to Zion NP. Located in A beautiful canyon near Kolab Canyon near the Subway hike. The views from the property and our tents were just gorgeous. Loved watching sunrise from our tent each morning. Located A 25 minute drive to Zion NP but the drive is so beautiful it is a pleasure trip. The tents themselves are private and big with a cozy bed, great linens and very efficient wood burning stove. It was cold and windy while we were there and it tested the durability of the canvas structure. The stove was awesome. We were even able to cook in the tent . It is amazing how much heat it generates. We got the larger tent with the private bathroom. It was nice not having to hike to communal toilets in the night. But the in tent shower was small and awkward so we used the communal ones which were great with hot water and warm towels. The staff were awesome, friendly and helpful. The main tent had a good grill/restaurant, fire, games and never ending coffee and cocoa. S’mores at night were a fun treat and stargazing from the heli pad was incredible. Loved our stay here and will definitely be back again.

Two night stop over. Great Place to stay.

We chose this for our base on a two day visit into Zion NP. Yes it is slightly off of the beaten track but the drive is well worth the effort. Not that you want everyone to know its there but the odd sign would help. Located in a small side valley and off an unmade road it is a delight. The reception forms part of the main complex all be it in a single gigantic tent, with a communal area for eating drinking/socialising. There is an open fire pit and a kitchen providing meals. Don't expect too much in the way of home comforts, it is camping of a "style". We stayed in the Suite. Very large comfortable tent with large king sized bed with plenty of bedding to keep you warm at night. There is a wood burner and plenty of consumables to keep you warm. True there's not much else but the stunning views all around the whole site We self provided. If you are doing the same a cool box is a must. Just sit and immerse yourself in the beauty of the natural surroundings. If you can either stay awake or get up during the night, the sky above you is truly AMAZING, to see the Milky Way is worth getting out of your bed. There's no light pollution and only the Coyote's to keep you company. We were woken during the early hours as the Coyote pack goes out hunting. They wont bother the site and it is a special sound as they talk to each other across the valleys. Yes the toilet / showers are outside but it's Glamping! You are more with Nature than today's modern society so don't expect Wifi / TV etc.

Under Canvas Zion has thought of absolutely everything to make for an incredible glamping experience. The site was beautiful and peaceful. Our tent was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. It was the best night's sleep we had in quite some time. The staff were also very thoughtful and accommodating, exceeding our expectations in every way. Highly recommend!
