This was our first glamping experience and we loved it. The beds are wonderful. After a long day of hiking you need comfortable and these are some of the best beds I have ever sleep in. There is a wonderful breeze each night which cools the tent and the food is delicious. The staff is excellent. I suggest more organized activities in the evening to encourage guest interaction.

My teenage boys and I really enjoyed our stay at Under Canvas. The canyons surrounding the site are beautiful, and the setup of the campsite is well done. Our beds were very comfortable, restrooms were nice, and store/restaurant was very cool.

A feast for your senses

Just came back from road trip to Bryce and Zion celebrating a girlfriends birthday. We decided to try Glamping bear Zion and “glamped” for 2 nights. Could have stayed a month. Can’t describe sitting on your front “camp porch” looking straight out to Zion Mountain...esp around 6:30 with the sun setting. We went for the deluxe which included a shower, sink, commode...they even decorated our tent with balloons, notes and a happy birthday sign.. Don’t miss their desserts! Divine..

Amazing location and view, but...

Amazing view, location, comfortable bed, pillows, clean bathroom/ towels, clean room and access to water/ ice. Staff was friendly/ helpful and they offer lots of activities. For dinner we had trout and pesto ravioli, both were delicious. This is an eco-lodge, so kudos to that and be ready for eco experience. There were lots of families with kids on site and they were very loud until 9/10 pm. I think Under Canvas should have quiet hours starting at 9pm or earlier. If you’re looking for a romantic, peaceful, quiet experience, then you may be very disappointed, like us. Additionally, 3/4 of the tents on site require vehicle access, so you will hear car/ golf cart noises at all hours, which again adds to the noise factor. With the dust from the vehicles and help of Zion wind, you really feel like you are camping, instead of glamping. We also stayed at another glamp site on the east side of Zion and found that to be almost equally as great as Under Canvas for half the price (still lots of kids and dirty shower stalls). I would check out other Under Canvas locations for consideration. If Zion location divides spaces into quiet/ kid-free zone, then I would consider returning.

Great Experience!

Only stayed one night but it was such a great experience. The staff was helpful, you can tell they loved their job. The tents were incredible!! They thought of everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. King size bed with down comforter for the cool night, oversized couch with pull out mattress for the kids, little pot belly stove in case it was too cool at night, and when it got hot during the day you could turn on the misters to cool down the tent. I especially loved waking up to a thermos of hot coffee waiting for us to bring on the new day. Great idea, Great Staff and a Great adventure!!
