It's a homey place . . . spent 4 nights there in October, 2019. Nice people at reception (Great cookies too) and a very comfortable room. Quality bed and pillows made for a good night's sleep. Loved the giant walled-in shower. High ceiling in my second floor room was cool, although some morning light peeked in from a dormer which wasn't shaded. Breakfast was satisfactory, pretty much like all hotels these days, nothing bad, nothing great. Parking was always easy and there are many restaurants within walking distance. It's off the main street so it's very quiet.

The Gonzo Inn is a clean and well maintained lodging. The rooms are updated and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The place has a good vibe and the breakfast is wonderful. One key positive is the location is a block off the main strip so you are close to everything, but have a quiet and less hectic setting.

Stayed in Rm 212 for 4 nights in September and found both pros & cons to our choice. Pros: Location within walking distance to town, adjacent to bike path access, quiet, free parking, nice pool & hottub, spacious king-size suite, in-room coffee maker, fridge & microwave, pleasant balcony overlooking pool. Cons: Obvious water damage to bedroom, noted by mold odor & stiff, crunchy carpet, bedroom screen damaged, unable to open window without inviting in bats. Suite cleaning could've been better (coffee table surface, remote, & balcony), no elevator, so be prepared to carry your gear upstairs. Bottom Line: Would stay elsewhere on a return trip.

My bike tour gang stayed at the Gonzo Inn for three days in late Sept. I have to admit, when I first saw the outside, I expected a typical motel experience. I am pleased to say I was wrong. From the minute we walked in, the staff was on top of everything - professional and friendly. When I got to my room, I literally held up my fist and exclaimed "YES!" The place is clean and cared for, the mattress and bedding are top-quality, and the location makes all of Moab walkable. We all had good things to say abuot this unique little motel. I would stay here again.

We stayed here a few nights while traveling in Utah. This hotel was the perfect fit. The room had very high ceilings with sun lights. It made the room feel much airier and bigger. A nice standard breakfast was included in the morning. Rooms all had a balcony or patio, which we used often. If u skip your housekeeping they credit you $5.00/ day to use in the gift shop. This hotel is also perfect for going into town. 10 minute walk to downtown. Would stay here again and would recommend this hotel.
