Gadzooks, Gonzo! You've got a great vibe from top to bottom: comfortable, clean, funky, and fun. You've put your energy into the right places (e.g., tons of fresh fluffy towels, outdoor seating areas, and black out shades) and your staff are down to earth, knowledgeable, straightforward, and friendly. We loved being able to walk into town along the river after a day's adventuring!

Always enjoy stopping at the Gonzo Inn in Moab.

Maybe just the Gonzo Inn's laid back attitude. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Coffee in the reception area is always good and its an easy walk to good restaurants and shops. Also helps that our dogs are welcome and there are good places to walk them around the area.

Pretty good but a few issues

The vibe is great when you check in. Great decor, nice staff, homemade cookies & a doggie sculpture are a good way to start. They charge a $20 flat fee for pets. There is an excellent lawn area in back where dogs can play and do their business. Lots of paths to walk pups. We got a basic room which was my mistake. With 2 dogs, we probably should have gone for a suite. There just wasn’t enough space for the four of us. Even for two people only, it’s tight. There’s one chair. There was only a shallow bathroom sink so washing a dog bowl was a bit challenging. As far as the issues, the biggest one was the privacy problem. There are shades on the windows and they are fine during the day. But as soon as the sun sets and the lights go on, the shades are see-thru. They need to get a night shade for the windows. So would suggest you think about the suite if any more than 2 people. And bring a bathrobe!?! Great location in town. You can walk to all of the restaurants and shops. There’s quite a few patios for dog friendly dining. Overall, a fun stay.

Great place to take your dog

This is a great place to stay at with your dog. I saw that there were several people who had dogs. There is a place to take your dog to go potty. This is not a big hotel but a smaller hotel. Each room has a small patio. The showers are walk in style without a tub or curtain. The bathroom has a heater in it.

After a day of hiking all you want is a friendly face, comfortable mattress, fluffy pillows and a cold draft beer within a block. The Gonzo Inn has a friendly staff, great location, cool balconies with a little eclectic touch to let you know this isn't a chain. The employees have not been "trained to be nice" they just come by it naturally.
