This is the place to stay when you visit here. There are seats set up to watch the sunset and all rooms look down into the Valley. We picked up sandwiches and ate on our balcony and basked in the scenery

(Almost) Perfect Night
I have nothing to say to fault our cabin. It was perfect- and all about the view.
We arrived after a long day driving an hour or so before sunset. We walked up to the hotel/restaurant building to get some food to take back to the cabin. However, there wasn’t much appealing left, or available to begin with. This is something we should have looked into before we got there. The cabin has a fridge and microwave, we just had nothing to put in them! As it took awhile to enter the park due to it being a popular time to arrive, we didn’t think we’d have time to get to the nearest store and back again before sunset. So, we ate at the restaurant. Such a shame to not have been able to eat in our cabin. We were in a 3 week trip had eaten out every night, we were looking for to picking up some supplies and relaxing on our verandah- just us and the view.
The food at the restaurant wasn’t amazing.
Anyway, the cabin. A double bed, plus a bunk bed. Clean and definitely plenty of space for the two of us. Cabin was also very secure when locked up and very private considering there is are 2 rows of cabins. As mentioned- The views. Had a great sleep- curtains open to watch the stars. Woke easily to enjoy the sunrise from bed, before heading into verandah to take some photos. Lots of other people were up, but were being very quiet and respectful. Totally fell in love with the place and will never forget it. 100% recommended!!
Just pick up any supplies you need before hand!!

Worth the splurge
Calling your hotel “The View” seems like a little much, but WOW this place delivers. Located on a perch overlooking Monument Valley, the rooms are designed to maximize the views of this spectacular location. We spent hours on the deck watching the landscape change with the movement of the sun and clouds.
At night, the sky show was, um, out-of-this-world. It seems rare to see the milky way these days and in this remote area, with almost no artificial light, the stars seemed close enough to touch… Mesmerizing.

Worth it to stay here if you are in monument valley. We stayed in a premium cabin, very reasonable price and you can’t beat waking up and going to sleep with that view. Only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is that the restaurant is mediocre - very disappointing. We would still stay again for the view though!

We went on a 2 week southwestern US vacation and this was our last stop. The workers were extremely rude when we were checking in but they were busy so I just chalked it up to that. When trying to use the WiFi I was unable to connect any of our phones. I called down to the front desk asking if maybe the Internet was under a different name and I was using the wrong one since like I said nothing we had was working, the front desk told me to come down because I “probably just don’t know how to do it” so I go down and they start going through my phone trying to figure it out and then tell me that they got a new router and with this new internet they have iPhones no longer work with it. I’m sorry but that is literally not a thing. They just shrugged their shoulders and walked away. Back in our room we had no toilet paper and the mini fridge door was broken. Called the restaurant 8 times but no one ever answered and when we got to the restaurant they were all standing around. The salad bars food was all dried out. I watched a waitress be extremely rude to a guest who simply asked if she could have something omitted from her food. Our waitress didn’t come to our table for 20 minutes as she was talking to other workers instead. Finally, and the most disappointing thing by far, we paid extra to have one of the premium rooms with an unobstructed view. During sunset and sunrise the guests next to us kept climbing over their railing and standing in front of our room obstructing our view we paid a hefty price tag for. I called the front desk and asked if it was possible for them to say something. They told me they would. The next morning for sunrise the same thing happened. They are standing right in front of our view again. I literally had to go to the hotels viewing area where nonhotel guests go. Not only are they standing in front of our room now they are leaning over our railing looking into our room. Who wants strangers staring at them through their hotel window???? No one. I called the front desk again and they were so rude essentially telling me there is nothing they can do. We had our camera set up for a time lapse photo for sunrise and it is completely ruined because people keep going in and out of it. They told me that I would be receiving a refund but of course that never happened either. Each time I call they tell me no manager is present and they can’t help me. Monument Valley is beautiful don’t get me wrong but avoid this hotel.
