Hotel was clean. Even though there was no smoking allowed, you could tell that it used to be allowed. Room was fine, no smoke smell at all. Bed was comfortable. Did not eat at the restaurant. Best thing was being close to Death Valley National Park. Staff was nice and very helpful on Death Valley NP area.

If you are looking to stay here I recommend upgrading to the “pond” view room. The room has a nice porch overlooking the pond. Bed was comfortable and there was a fireplace in room which was a nice touch. Front desk was very friendly. The only major complaint is the smoke smell when smokers are in the casino. It’s a small area with poor air circulation. Casino was dated but fun. Live music was nice at the bar.

Fun place to eat, feed the ducks, etc

4 of us had the lunch special which was a cheeseburger and fries for $9.99. They did let you substitute onion rings and they were huge! One friend got the fish and chips and she said it was delicious. Afterwards we feed the ducks and geese. Went out to see the goat, lamb, steer, and 2 burros. Went into the little church and took photos. A very nice day!

A nice place to stay close to both Death Valley and Las Vegas. Only place with an internet connection for miles. Great restaurant (Nebraska) in the premises, good service, clean rooms, beautiful surroundings.

A real piece of old school Nevada casino history. Forget all the glitzy stuff in Vegas, this is how it used to be. The staff were all great, the room was large and really clean. It even had a fire place with working fire! The food was good too. A really nice retro style casino & hotel!
