A shame not much else to choose from!
Hotel room was tidy and bed was comfy but that was about it. Not much else positives to report otherwise.
No fridge in the rooms. Whole hotel stinked of cigarettes despite it being smoke free. We had one drink around the reception area and promptly left for our rooms due to the smell. Rooms themselves at least didn't smell of cigarettes.
Staff were friendly but didn't look particularly enthused to be at work. Convenience store within the hotel was handy given very little around the area.

What a surprise. We never expect this, ok its old but clean. Very nice to be here. The biggest room we ever had with a very good bed and huge tv. There is no coffeemaker or fridge in the room but there is a little shop open 24/24 with cheap prices for the drinks. There is also a small casino. Upstairs is a steakhouse with for me a very good steak and for my wife the best salmon off our vacation. In The morning a had a omelet and my wife took the pancakes GREAT

Located Well For Death Valley
After visiting Death Valley we stayed here, just for one night, we'd never stayed in a casino before. The room was fine, everywhere is a little dated, but it was clean. We had a meal in Jack Cafe, then went back to our room. Its a little noisy here, but we both slept fine. You can also pick up some supplies in the little shop located near the reception.

Oasis in the Desert
Stayed for one night on a road trip.
Positioned near on the Nevada & California border in the middle of nowhere.
Small casino and shop (food and gifts) off the reception area.
Small restaurant for breakfast and evening meals.
Good food at reasonable prices but there isn't much other choices in the area.
Big rooms and its worth the upgrade to the mountain and lake view, otherwise the view is a dusty car park.
Small balcony with chairs ideal for watching the wild fowl on the lake and later for watching the sunset over the mountains.
Swimming pool in the grounds but not tried.
On site laundry area very useful.
RV park at the rear, that seem to have a few resident RVs.
Petting area and picture opportunities at the large bovine structure and the state border signs.
Recommended hotel just on the edge of Death Valley.

Excellent rooms, amazing view and affordable prices
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for just one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer! It is just outside of the actual Death Valley and the rooms are 3 times less expensive than if you were to stay in the park.
The rooms are in great condition, large, and very cozy. We had a room with a view towards the lake and it was so nice! There was a little bit of noise overnight coming from what sounded like a generator or something, but that did not bother us too much as we were very tired. They also have farm animals outside which you can look at, pet or talk to.
I would definitely stay here again and hope to have time to try their restaurant next time which seems to be nice.
