A nice place to stay close to both Death Valley and Las Vegas. Only place with an internet connection for miles. Great restaurant (Nebraska) in the premises, good service, clean rooms, beautiful surroundings.

A real piece of old school Nevada casino history. Forget all the glitzy stuff in Vegas, this is how it used to be. The staff were all great, the room was large and really clean. It even had a fire place with working fire! The food was good too. A really nice retro style casino & hotel!

The prices and location are great for the Death Valley area. Hotels inside of Death Valley are very pricey. This hotel is a great alternative, with very reasonable prices and close proximity to the entrance of Death Valley (about 30 miles). The staff was great. I left a 2-in-1 laptop in my room and they were able to retrieve for me even after it had been in the room for several days. They were very very friendly and accommodating. The laundry room was a nice touch. One does tend to get very dirty and dusty (even muddy) in Death Valley. The washing machines are very convenient and useful for taking care of really dirty clothes. I cannot give the place a top rating because the food in their cafe was hit and miss. Their Cobb Salad was pretty bad. However, the soup was quite good.

The Longstreet is probably the closest hotel to Death Valley without staying in the park. It also is out in the middle of nowhere, but that’s ok it does have what you’ll need for the night. The check in is the counter of the convenience store in the hotel and has a kind of run down feel. The staff was ok though and check in was smooth. Be sure to bring a $5 bill because the hotel key require Ed a deposit. The room itself was ok but it was not worth the $100 we paid for a lake view room. The only blankets on the bed was a sheet and one of the cheap tan blankets you see on couch beds. No duvet in sight. The room overall was somewhat worn, but it was clean. The hotel was wuiet and I did sleep well. The hotel does have some interesting amenities. It has a small casino really just a bunch of slots but it does have character. The casino has a live singer on Friday nights and was pretty good. The hotel has a restaurant and a steak house. The restaurant wasn’t bad. The hotel has a year round pool and hot tub which is nice as the hotels pretty small. Did I mention the petting zoo..... Overall it’s ok Pahrump probably has better hotels but the Longstreet has character and location. It’s not bad if you get a deal for like $70 it’s well worth it.

A shame not much else to choose from!

Hotel room was tidy and bed was comfy but that was about it. Not much else positives to report otherwise. No fridge in the rooms. Whole hotel stinked of cigarettes despite it being smoke free. We had one drink around the reception area and promptly left for our rooms due to the smell. Rooms themselves at least didn't smell of cigarettes. Staff were friendly but didn't look particularly enthused to be at work. Convenience store within the hotel was handy given very little around the area.
