Run while you can.
Read the reviews and the place sounded satisfactory for my needs. Arrived to walk into my room for find the hot water running full blast in the sink. Turned off and the faucet and the faucet slide in the fixture. Looked in the bathroom and found a welcome turd floating. Chairs in the room had disgusting stains as if someone urinated on them. So gross that I would not sit or put my clothes on them. Only heat was a space heater. Cob webs hanging from the lights and light cover missing and laying on a shelf in the room. Hole in bathroom door. No shower curtain. Carpet was lumpy. All this, yet the wash cloth was folded very cute in the shape of a small chick. No other rooms available in the area so I did stay, but I slept with my clothes on and my pants tucked into my socks. Would NEVER go back.

Sooo where do I begin, upon arriving I did what everyone does I looked up reviews! They we’re actually Pretty good, So We Decided to give it a go. We pretty much knew what we were getting into. So My expectations wasn’t high. The smell of the room was nasty 🤢 I sprayed my perfume every where! My husband poured a drink and sat on the rock hard bed. The bathroom toilet 🚽🤢wasn’t cleaned! There were cobwebs 🕸 every where. There was Literally a junk drawer!!!! I went and spoke to the lady a the desk which happened to be the owner of the property! She was so rude and didn’t want to hear any of it! All she said is that if you not happy your more then welcome to leave ugh 😑 I totally would have left, but my husband was already drinking and we couldn’t drive. Bottom line don’t stay here! The young man that was the house keeper was very nice! apologized for the dirty room and said it was Unacceptable! Definitely not worth 75.00

Old and a bit worn out
After spending all day in death Valley we look forward to our rooms at the Atomic Inn in Beatty. This is an older motel and could use some updating. Wow the rooms are spacious everything just looks old. The rooms are furnished with art deco style furniture, and the queen size bed was far from comfortable. The mattress was extremely soft and there was a board down the middle of the bed. It was difficult to find a comfortable position to sleep in. If it hadn’t been for the fact that I was so exhausted I probably would’ve slept very little that night. The staff was friendly and the location convenient. If the price had been any higher it would not of been worth what was paid.
There are several lodgings to chose from and I would pick another one the next time I’m in Beatty.

Let me start with the Pros:
Cindy at the front desk was friendly and tried to be accommodating.
The room was larger than many I've stayed in.
It was quiet.
The freezer portion of the little refrigerator actually froze my blue-ice container.
The room was pretty much other worldly. I am very accustomed to "budget friendly" motels as I'm always trying to save money, but I would say beware on this one. The first room we were sent to reeked of stale cigarette smoke, and it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Cindy did apologize and move us to the one next door which was much better, but still smelled some. The carpet was also a little better in the second one, but my friend that I was traveling with was afraid to go shoeless on it. The dark paneled walls and some furnishings were 1960's style (and maybe 1960's installed also). The TV was very small for the room.
The base vinyl in the bathroom was peeling away and leaving gaps. The faucet in the shower was about 2" from the wall with just the pipe exposed. (Not a problem, just ugly and showing a lack of caring)
We stayed two nights and upon returning to our room for the second night our room had not been serviced.
When we went to the front desk to get some new towels they had to go looking for some and complained of having run out that day.
The towels were minimal even for a budget friendly motel.
The "ice machine" was up the street at the gas station where you could purchase it.
Although I cannot point to any specific signs of uncleanliness, it had me wondering if I was in a clean, safe environment.
As I read the other reviews I don't know what they are used to, but I would say "Traveler beware."
Chances are that I will never be in Beatty, NV again, but If so I won't be lodging at the Atomic Inn.

Would stay again
We stayed here for one night. It’s definitely funky and cool, don’t expect the Hilton but it’s Beatty not Beverly Hills. Staff was friendly and the room was reasonable clean. Walking distance to the food and drink establishments. Bed was comfortable.
