We needed a second day at Death Valley and everything in park was full so they recommended this hotel in Beatty. It was what it was. An older hotel (narrow inside hall) above a casino. You had to walk thru the smoky casino to get to the stairs to the rooms. Few electrical plugs and window heat/AC unit, but it was clean and had fridge, microwave and coffee maker. We came out safe and our vehicle did too!

Good service and clean room.

We had excellent service from the moment we entered the hotel. Glen was there for our every need. Our room was minimal but clean. We even won a little money in the casino. Breakfast at Denny’s was very good as was our server,. We definitely will stay there again.

Spent five hundred dollars playing a half dozen slots in multiple denominations throughout the night. Won $40 on a $5 penny slot one time. I literally did not win anything AT ALL!!!! Don’t play here. I’ve never been to a tighter casino and I’ve traveled to hundreds in the past decade!!!!! I’ve lost plenty of money in the past. It’s not loosing here it the fact that that never even hit a minimal line win.

Stagecoach Was My Last Hope For Beatty Hotels

The hotels in Beatty are just pitiful. I refused to attend Beatty Days for 2 years because the hotels in this town SUCK!! I finally convinced my boyfriend to stay at the Stagecoach Hotel. Well it wasn't much better than the Motel 6 or Death Valley Inn. The room was fair but I have a few complaints. The bathroom only had one switch for the light and fan. The fan was SOOO loud that it drowned out conversations and the TV. Speaking of the TV very limited cable channels. The phone was old and dirty. I mean really, how much does it cost to buy a new phone? Housekeeping came in our room daily but not once did she make up the bed. The ice machines could use a good cleaning. The casino is small and smoky. Not a good variety of slot machines or table games. My advice is find another hotel if you can.

We stayed here two nights while we explored Death Valley and went rock hunting. It is very clean, quiet, and the AC works spotlessly in the 100 degree+ temperatures. Prices are quite reasonable. Attached Denny's and casino, that is smokey.
