These days when you book a stay at non-hotel chain lodging, it can seem quite impersonal. Self check-in, transactions over email and texting, you often never meet the proprietors. Despite that, staying at the Entrada Escalante Lodge was about as personal and warm as it gets. Every corner of the room had outstanding personal touches: dog dishes set out for our pup, special dog blanket, poop bags, bandaids for any scrapes on the trail, snacks and granola bars, French press for coffee, toilet paper plush enough for the royal family , etc. The feeling of care and pampering was everywhere. The view from our back area was a panorama Utah cliffs. And when we were leaving we did have the good fortune to meet Wendy. It was an A+ pleasure to stay at Entrada Escalante, and a pleasure to tell you to stay here, too

Out of all the places we stayed on our southern Utah trip, Entrada Escalante Lodge was our favorite by a mile. The Lodge compared favorably to a high-end VRBO and Hilton Curio hotels. Anything we could have wished for was provided. Things that we especially appreciated included: a gas grill outside our room, private sitting area outside to enjoy the views, bathrobes, a separate heater in the bathroom, a well-stocked kitchenette including a pour-over coffee maker, snacks, interesting artwork, and attractive, comfortable furnishings. I could go on and on. If we find ourselves in the vicinity again, we would definitely stay here.

This property continues to amaze with its quality and consistency. As usual, our stay was in a King Deluxe Suite which is very well equipped. There are a few changes this year that only improves the experience. This includes two fire pits... one for each of the two sets of units. There is a nice selection of complimentary snacks and some new art work. Small nice touches are everywhere... eye shades, ear plugs... not need... the property is very quiet. Having a complimentary laundry is very nice. Escalante is an excellent base for exploring an area of great natural beauty.

We have stayed at several pet friendly motels in the past 10 or more years but this is by far the most wonderful experience we have had. You went out of the way help the canines: bed blanket, treats, bowls, potty bags, etc. Also the room itself was so well equipped for the humans: amenities, TV trays, snacks, breakfast coffee, etc. Very positive time

The Entrada Escalante Lodge owners have thought of everything you might need for your stay. To wit, when we arrived back at the lodge with a lovely piece of blueberry lemon cake from the Outfitters Cafe, we realized we forgot to ask for forks and napkins. A quick look around the room revealed a bit of silverware and paper towels. Just what we needed. Then I noticed other little things throughout the room... Q-tips, stain remover and dental floss sticks to name a few. In fact, off I were to prepare a guest action for our home for friends and family I would look to do something exactly like this. mJust lovey and it felt just like home. Lovely rockers on the back deck mack for the perfect place to unwind. We have already booked another stay.
