Cute cabins and beautiful pool area
We were pleasantly surprised with Desert Rose Resort, the place has a relaxed rustic modern flair.
Our cabin was clean, and staff was friendly at check in.
Restaurant on property was closed for the season.

Nice hotel, but Bluff basically shuts down in October
Room type (booked for 2A+1C): standard room, two doubles
Upgrades: none, but also didn't try to request one
Location: We actually chose Bluff as a stopover location on our way through from the Grand Canyon through to Keystone, Colorado. When our first accommodation cancelled, they recommended this place to us. The hotel itself was good, but Bluff as a place shuts in October and doesn't reopen until the warmer months. For this reason alone, I wouldn't stay again (I understand it's not the hotels fault, it's just inconvenient).
Parking: right in front of the room, free
Views: nice - overlook of the road first, but it then looks out onto the mountains behind
Breakfast: there's a coffee machine in room or there are some food and drinks available for purchase in the main office.
Room: large, clean and comfortable
Beds and pillows: clean and comfortable
Room amenities: room had a fridge and coffee machine. No safe.

This property was great! We checked in around 6 pm, so it was pitch black out when we arrived to check in, due to the recent daylight saving time, time change. Room was good size and very clean. We had been driving for several hours, so it was great to fine that this property was above our expectations! Front office staff was great! Pool and hot tub were both clean and well maintained. Plenty of towels at the pool area. We had dinner in the restaurant for it was the only one open in town. Food was excellent! The only problem was the wait to get seated. It took around 45 minutes to be seated . Wait and serving staff was certainly under staffed! Manager/host should have a least offered a complimentary desert or appetizer. There is no wine or beer served here, so that was out of the question as a gesture of good will for the long wait. All in all, I still have to highly recommend this property!

Wow, this is a beautiful place to stay. Some many qualities to this property of lovely, clean rooms, friendly staff, amenities, WONDERFUL indoor pool and hot tub! Thank you for hot coffee and tea available all day. Superb views of red rock cliffs. So much more than a whistle stop and best lodging in the town much less whole region!
If I'm ever in this area again, there's no doubt I'd want to stay at Desert Rose.

Conveniently ocated on the main highway at west edge of town and adjacent to one restaurant and across the stret from another, the Desert Rose is a good place to say. The room was quiet, and the beds were comfortable.
