Desert Rose was a quaint stopover in our Southwest Utah experience. Centrally located among the monumental stops, it was quiet, and scenic. Mallory was at the desk at check in and was super helpful as was the morning staff. The small town of Bluff has a lot to offer in this area.

Stayed here for 2 nights on our recent road trip of the American Rockies. A lovely room. Friendly staff and a pool indoors. We chose the restaurant attached for our evening meal as we didn't want to drive again. We made good choices for the food but unfortunately all four of us had to send back the food as it was just luke warm. We like food to be hot but I don't know if Americans don't mind their food this way as this was not the only place we had to do this and we are not people to complain generally. A shame as everything else was great!

Stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin. Very clean and perfect for the one night we stayed there. Buffet breakfast was included with something for everyone. Will stay there again on the next trip.

VERY firm beds.

Rooms were very clean, and staff invariably pleasant and helpful. The Desert rose is definitely a cut above your average nice hotel room. And breakfast was great. So why only 3 stars? The beds are incredibly hard. I hardly slept the first night because of the pain I was experiencing. My companion did a little better, but had the same issues. Your experience may vary, of course. So sorry, Desert Rose, but I'll sleep in the car before I'll go back.

I decided my Birthday trip this year should be Monument Valley- never been and it always looked so amazing to me. We were only staying for one night and thankfully, my Husband booked the Desert Rose. This is a beautiful cabin style property in Bluff- a cute, historic little town about a 40 min drive from Monument Valley. We got the large cabin on the end with the king bed and it was really lovely. Comfy bed, nice bathroom and a fantastic wrap around porch. It was quiet and the perfect place to relax. The ONLY thing- absolutely NO cell service and the Wifi was spotty so be advised if you really need a connection. We didn't eat at Duke's Restaurant because we had a big lunch but it looked really nice. We did have the breakfast the next morning. It's a basic hotel breakfast buffet but it was fine. We only spent the one night so we didn't use any other amenities (and it did rain that evening) but I would definitely recommend Desert Rose if you will be visiting the area.
