Do not stay here! We are tied in so we can't leave. They won't give you your money back. The bathrooms are filthy!!! Be sure to wear shoes in the shower. The staff is unfriendly. There are no trees at the campsites and they are not very level. The caps on the sewer drain are not attached. It is closer to the entrance of the park but not worth the stay!

Beautiful View of Shoshone River
During our week stay, we had a beautiful view of the Shoshone River from this RV park. The RV park is all gravel fringed by a grassy strip that overlooks the river. While not having any trees to contend with made this very large rig friendly, it didn’t do much to enhance the ambiance of the western beauty that surrounded the park. I prefer grass on our RV site which is one reason for the lower rating. The other reason for a lower rating is the cleanliness of the restrooms. For four days I used the same bathroom because the hand dryer worked (not so in it her bathroom/showers) and a black thread stayed on the floor outside of the shower, a smear of green something stayed on the sink, and a long hair clung to the wall of the shower. Plus there was no soap or hand sanitizer available. Thorough, daily attention to the bathrooms would have improved their rating.

We stayed in one of the cabins for several days while sightseeing the area. I think their prices are a little high, considering what you get. Yes, there is a heated outdoor pool and a hot tub, both of which are at the front of the property. There is a restaurant and saloon on sight, which was really nice. Breakfast buffet was included with a cabin. The shower stall in the cabin was really small. There was no where to hang or place anything. Some hooks would have been nice. Also more shelving or a place to lay stuff. The cabin was roomy enough for 2 people, would have been tight for 4 adults. There is a mini fridge/microwave. The rooms were very clean, and housekeeping made the beds/changed towels every day. The breakfast buffet was ok not great, it got us started for the day, food was so-so but biscuits were hard on the bottom, as in you couldn't cut through them with the plastic knife (this was every day). I wish they would have offered cereal. We ate dinner in the restaurant a couple of times, they have a good selection to choose from. We always ate on the saloon side, their dining/saloon areas are updated, clean, and quite nice. Ian, the bartender, took good care of us each time. They have quite a list of craft beers and it looked like the bar was well stocked with the most popular spirits. One night I had the Shrimp Scampi, which was fettucini alfredo with grilled shrimp on top. The shrimp was nice sized, perfectly cooked, and flavorful. It was very good. Hubby had the Philly, which he said was so-so, meat kind of chewy as opposed to tender. Yes, I would say the restaurant had good food. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, and check-in was easy. Parking/driving areas were rock, but smooth, no potholes. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a nice stay in the Wapiti valley area, and we would return.

We stayed here in the RV park to be close to both Yellowstone and Cody. This location is perfect for exploring the east side of Yellowstone. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The coffee bar is a great place to catch up on email and the WIFI is strong and reliable.

Centered 30 miles from east entrance to Yellowstone Park and 20 miles from Cody Wyoming. We have traveled 1700 miles so far this trip and this has been my favorite spot. The staff is so friendly and very helpful, everyone from reservation by phone to check- in, restaurant, breakfast crew to, maintenance. The scene is amazing, chairs are placed to view the mountains on both sides and the Shoshone river. Be sure and bring bug spray if you want to set along the river at dusk. The cabins are where we stayed. The room was kept very clean. The 1st evening we had a problem with the stopper in our sink. Maintenance had it fixed within 5 minutes of our reporting the issue. Laundry area well maintained, bring plenty of quarters, if you don’t have enough, front desk will help you out. Restaurant was very clean, staff very helpful, moderately priced. The complimentary hot breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, sausage gravy, biscuits, pancakes, fruit, coffee, tea, cocoa, orange juice. It was hot, good, and staff very friendly. The cabins were simple, rustic decor, everything was clean, well maintained, the beds were very comfortable. I have mobility issues as did the lady next door to use. The toilet was tall, no hand rails, walk-in shower is an option. I loved it here. The outdoors had plenty of seating, a grill and picnic table, bags, horse shoes, enclosed hot tub, swing set and playground heated pool.
