We came across this hotel on our own as our data wasn't very good in this area. Friendly staff at the front desk. We got a King room, in the back of the property in a building with sort of an open air hallway. Room was on the small side, but not too bad. Breakfast area was very full in the morning, and no protein options. We sat outside in the very brisk morning air. This was one of the worst breakfasts we had in our 15 days of traveling. We felt this hotel was truly average, nothing to write home about, we might stay there again, but wouldn't seek it out.

We have spent the last 8 weeks travelling through the states of Of America and this hotel has been one of the best. Very polite service when we checked in. Room was clean and the breakfast was adequate.

We spent two nights here and found that it met our needs just fine. It is a short distance to Bryce and was quiet and convenient. The room was simple but spacious and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good and we had a good dinner next door at the Rustler. Given the reasonable cost, I would say it provided everything we needed.

Friendly Staff at the reception desk, Good breakfast, nice room . Great location to visit the Bryce Canyon. The reception gave us coupon to use at the restaurant near by and it came as an excellent place to have dinner.

A decent place to stay with most of the necessities one needs and nothing more. They've got a laundry room, free WiFi, free breakfast and a billiard room. The room I had was decent and the bathroom was clean. I can't say the same for the carpets though. The room heater was especially useful as the weather we had was about -2 Celsius after sundown (late October). The TV was large and clear and had more channels than you could ever watch. The real great thing about this place is it's location. It is in between two awesome national parks with about 20 minutes to Kodachrome Basin or Bryce Canyon national Park, via the same road. It is easy to find and worth staying at for two or three days. Do bring some extra food on your road trip as restaurants in Tropic are few, but you can use the microwave and fridge also found in your room. If you're low on fuel, there's a gas station right next to the place. I'd recommend staying here if you have a few days to look around the area.
